Pulling the coconut oil

Updated: Jan 4, 2021

I have been using unrefined organic coconut oil (rinsing my mouth with coconut oil) almost every day since 2015. I learned about the beneficial properties of coconut oil from Ayurvedic medicine. The roots of this activity go back a really long time. It has a detoxifying and antibacterial effect.

It perfectly cleanses our oral cavity after the whole night, and "draws out" toxins from our body. It has a wonderful whitening effect on the teeth and is beneficial for any problems that appear in the mouth (e.g. bleeding gums).

Oil rinsing should be done in the morning. First, rinse your mouth with water, spit it out, and then take a tablespoon of coconut oil. Once the oil has dissolved in your mouth, you begin the process. The oil should be moved in the mouth and rinsed all over the mouth, teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums. The entire process should take 15-20 minutes. Then you spit out the oil (you absolutely cannot swallow it and I suggest spitting it out to the toilet not to the sink, because of the bacteria and other rubbish that has been accumulated in it). Rinse your mouth with warm water (you can also add some hydrogen peroxide here). Only then do you brush your teeth.

Noticeable is better breath and cleanliness in the mouth. When it comes to use by children, we have to observe it ourselves whether our child is aware enough not to swallow the oil. The minimum age limit is 5 years. Coconut oil can be replaced with another, unrefined oil, but coconut is recommended especially because of its healing properties. Remember that only regular use of coconut oil will give positive results. So let's go for it! :)
